KSW 84 took place Saturday at Polsat Plus Arena in Gdynia, Poland.

In the main event, the dominant heavyweight champion Phil De Fries went for his ninth consecutive title defense against challenger Szymon Bajor.

De Fries was able to stop his opponent with a rear naked choke, but was not happy with his own performance.

“One more in the bag, didn’t like my performance but we learn from adversity, thanks to szymon and thanks to all the fans. Much love,” De Fries commented on the win on Instagram.

The card also featured Olympic medallist Damian Janikowski who defeated Cezarious Kesik via unanimous decision with 30-27, 30-27 and 29-28 on the scorecards.
