PFL 3 results: Sadibou Sy demolishes opponent with second-round TKO

PFL 3 just took place at the Theater at Virgin Hotels, Las Vegas.
In the main event, the 2022 lightweight champion Olivier Aubin-Mercier took on former ranked UFC featherweight Shane Burgos in the latters PFL debut.
Aubin-Mercier proved to be too much for Burgos and eventually won the fight via unanimous decision with 30-37 on the scorecards.
Sadibou Sy happy to get a stoppage win
In the welterweight co-main event, Swedish striking sensation Sadibou Sy defeated Jarrah Al-Silawi via TKO.
In the second round, Sy landed a hard knee to the body and quickly rushed in as Al-Silawi began to back away. The Swede unloaded a barrage of punches and referee Mark Smith stopped the fight just moments later.
“I am happy that I got the finish,” Sy said in the post-fight interview.
“I’m trying to become the best at getting better. We’re going improve from this one. There were a lot of opportunities in the fight I didn’t capitalize on, so we are going to raise the ceiling for the next one.”

With the win, Sadibou Sy got five points, and are currently at No. 4 in the welterweight standings.
