The next season of The Ultimate Fighter may very well be the biggest yet as Conor McGregor and Michael Chandler are set as the coaches for the two opposing teams! Now we finally have a release date: the show will premiere on May 30th on UFC Fight Pass!
As of now we know that The Ultimate Fighter: Team McGregor vs Team Chandler will feature fighters in bantamweight and lightweight – with several former UFC fighters returning in hopes of securing another shot in the world famous octagon.
The contestants are:
Bantamweights: Hunter Azure, Rico DiSciullo, Cody Gibson, Mando Gutierrez, Brad Katona, Timur Valiev, Carlos Vera and Trevor Wells.
Lightweights: Lee Hammond, Kurt Holobaugh, Austin Hubbard, Nate Jennerman, Jason Knight, Aaron McKenzie, Landon Quinones and Roosevelt Roberts.

Speaking on the upcoming bout between the coaches, who’s date has not yet been announced, McGregor says that he plans on “slicing” through his opponent.
“I think I’m just going to slice through him,” McGregor said. “I think I’m a little too slicy for him, than anyone he’s fought – a little too snappy and whippy. I think I’ll slice through him.”
