On Saturday April 22, UFC returns with another event at the Apex in Las Vegas.

In the headline fight, we will see a five-round heavyweight clash between top ranked Sergei Pavlovich and Curtis Blaydes.

Pavlovich is one of the most dangerous fighters in the division right now, with five straight first-rounds KO’s and a record of 17-1.

The winner of the fight puts himself in a good position to fight for the heavyweight title in the near future.

Bantamweight co-main event moved

In the originally scheduled co-main event, bantamweight prospects Song Yadong and Ricky Simon were supposed to clash in a three-round bout. However, the fight was bumped to the main event at UFC Vegas 72 on April 29.

The UFC Vegas 71 main card  features a great lightweight matchup between Bobby Green and Jared Gordon, as well as a women’s strawweight bout between the promising prospect Iasmin Lucindo and Brogan Walker-Sanchez.
