MMA Superior Academy Fight Card 1FrontkickWe are a little more than two weeks left until the debut of the first Superior Academy event, where amateur fighters from all over Sweden will line up to give the Uppsala MMA crowd their absolute best performances.

The promotions are still dropping fights for the Superior Academy fight card. When asked for his opinion about the matchups, Head of Superior Academy, Andres Viracca, highlighted some of his  favorites.

“I’m so proud of our first card,” Viracca said an interview with Ashah Tafari. “We have two great heavyweight bouts. The main event with Nermin Hajdarpasic, who returns after his adventure in top promotion OKTAGON MMA. The debut of Freddy Castro, Karlsson vs. Karlsson for the first Superior Academy title. The rematch where Tobias Söderberg gives Tobias Wallberg a chance to avenge his loss. My own nephew Sebasthian Viracca’s MMA debut.”

“We will become the greatest amateur organization in Sweden, and the promotion that pays our pro fighters the best. The fighters will always come first for me. We have a few pro fighters on the card, but this is mostly a platform for amateur talents.”

The ambitions are high, but Viracca has a clear vision of what Superior Academy will be – and what it won’t be!

“We will introduce almost every fighter on the card on Instagram, with proper content and interviews, so the MMA fans will get to know about them. That’s how we will build Swedish MMA in the long run. By investing in the future names of the sport and giving them proper marketing and a platform, instead of pushing stuff that gets more attention and viewers for a short moment. If I ever do an influencer fight I will resign – mark my words.”
