FCR 13 results: 21-year-old Bernardo Sopai captures bantamweight title with brutal head kick knockout

Bernardo Sopai and Karlen Minasian just fought for the promotions bantamweight title bout in the main event of FCR 13 in Stockholm, Sweden.

The first round started slow but Minasian was able to get his opponent to the mat, however, he quickly got to his feet. Sopai pressured Minasian to the cage and eventually both fighters were able to secure takedowns.

In the second round, Sopai landed a heavy right hand that put a spark on the fight, and with three minutes left he floored his opponent and finished him with ground and pound.

With the impressive win 21-year-old Bernardo Sopai is the new FCR bantamweight champion.
