Featherweight banger added to FCR 17 in Uppsala!

Fight Club Rush will debut in Uppsala, Sweden with the promotions 17th event and a new bout was just announced: a featherweight battle between Dimitris Dimitriadis and Raymond Johansson!

Dimitriadis trains at STHLM Kampsport and holds amateur wins over the likes of Baysangur Makaev and Anton Hellström, he has also faced Martin Corney in Brave CF but came up short. Dimitriadis will now be making his much anticipated pro debut.

Johansson has been known to take tough fights against top competition like Tobias Harila. He made his pro debut at FCR 13 against the much-avoided Allstars prospect Djaba Murtazaliev. While Johansson did well on the feet he was taken down and submitted in the first round.

Both Dimitriadis and Johansson are both banking on securing their first pro win, much to the delight of the fans.

Current fight card for FCR 17

FCR 17 will take place at Fyrishov Arena in Uppsala and marks the city’s first-ever MMA event. The card will be headlined by a flyweight title bout between Renato Vidovic and Jonny Touma.

The co-main event features a welterweight clash between Sweden’s Christian Stigenberg and Finland’s Toni Lampinen.

• Welterweight bout: Toni Lampinen vs Christian Stigenberg
• Bantamweight bout: Ali Yazbeck vs Shoeb Akrami
