Undefeated Ian Garry knocks out Daniel Rodriguez in the first round

Welterweights Ian Machado Garry and Daniel Rodriguez just clashed at UFC on ABC 4 at the Spectrum Center in Charlotte, North Carolina.

The first round started at a high pace, with good boxing from both fighters. Three minutes into the round, Garry landed a head kick that floored ”D-Rod” and then followed up with a bunch of hard punches on the ground.

”No respect to D-Rod but I have more skills,” Garry said. ”That headkick was beautiful!”

Ian Machado Garry moves to 12-0

Ian Machado Garry is still undefeated and now holds a 12-0 pro record with five straight wins in the UFC.

Before his win against Rodriguez he defeated Song Kenan, Gabriel Green, Darian Weeks and Jordan Williams.

”I want a guy who’s known to be the gatekeeper. I want Neil Magny.”

Daniel Rodriguez is now 17-4 and has back-to-back losses.
