Superior Challenge 24: Anne Karoline Nascimento defeats Malin Hermansson

We just saw a catchweight (54 kg) fight between Bellator veteran Malin Hermansson and Anne Karoline Nascimento go down at Superior Challenge 24.

After three rounds, the judges awarded the victory to Anne Karoline Nascimento.

The first round both fighters landed. In the last minute Nascimento landed some heavy shots that seemed to hurt Hermansson.

In the second round the Brazilian landed several leg kicks while Hermansson tried to land her right hand without much success. The third round started at a higher tempo, where both fighters found success.

“I’m very happy, I feel tired and happy,“ Nascimento said during the post fight interview. ”Tonight i will celebrate with a pizza”.

This marked Malin Hermansson’s third straight professional loss, having previously suffered defeats to the likes of Elin Öberg and Corinne Laframboise.
