Swedish K-1 champ Alexandra Andersröd set for Oktagon debut

Now it’s official: Gothenburgs own Alexandra Andersröd will be the next Swede to grace Czech top promotion Oktagon!

According to secure sources close to the situation Andersröd will face Slovakian striker Lucia Szabova in a Muay Thai bout with MMA gloves at Oktagon 47 in the Slovakian capital city of Bratislava on October seventh.

Alexandra Andersröd is a two-time Swedish champ

Andersröd fights out of the famed club Gothenburg Muay Thai and is a two-time Swedish K-1 champion with circa 30 Muay Thai and K-1 bouts. As a pro she holds a 2-0 record including a decision win over Joanna Steffansson at Zone Pro League 3.

The hometown hero Lucia Szabova is an experienced striker with an impressive 6-0 MMA record in which she has finished all but one of her opponents, as well as a decision win over Swedish star Cornelia Holm at Oktagon 26.
