Swedish pro boxer Linn Sandström took on Arisara Manopchai in a ten-round bout in Bangkok, Thailand on Thursday. After ten hard-fought rounds of hard fought rounds of action, Sandström got the job done by decision.
In a Instagram post, the Swedish boxer commented on the important win.
“When the comeback is stronger than the setback! I have grown SO much these last few months both mentally and physically by overcoming adversity and yesterday I had to test myself and really dig deep against a super tough opponent. This has only fuelled my fire even more. Time to work super hard for what’s next!”
On May 26, 2023, Linn Sandström took on Venezuela’s Johana Zuniga at ABP Fight Night 9 in Malmö, Sweden. The WBA super flyweight intercontinental title was on the line.
In the second round of the title bout, the Swede suffered a bad cut in the hairline as the two fighters accidently clashed heads. The fight was stopped by the ref and eventually declared a technical draw. Sandström was still the WBA super flyweight intercontinental champion after the fight.
