On Saturday February 24 Fight Club Rush will return to Stockholm with the stacked FCR 19. The event will take place at Quality Hotel in SOlna and marks the promotion’s third in the Swedish capital.
FCR 19 is headlined by a bantamweight title fight where Spanish FCR veteran Hecher Sosa will take on Tuomas Grönvall for the promotion’s vacant belt.
Sosa rides a four-fight winning streak and comes from a unanimous decision win against Aaron Robinson at FCR 18.
Grönvall is 4-1 in his past five outings and comes from a stoppage win against Adem Vashakmadze.
In the co-main event we will see a featherweight bout between Wasi “The Nigerian Jaguar” Adeshina and Luka Giorgadze. Both athletes have back-to-back wins going into the fight.
One of the most exciting matchups of the event is the lightweight battle between Erik Wahrolen and Baysangur Makaev. The 41-year-old surging pro Wahrolen will have his toughest test to date in the hungry up-and-comer Makaev.
FCR 19 will also feature fighters like Enes Kollari and Sevan Madenjian, as well as the professional MMA debut of Swedish Muay Thai star Kevin Mickelsson.
