One of the most interesting bouts of the stacked UFC 296 has been cancelled as featherweight top dog Giga Chikadze is out of his fight against former interim title contender Josh Emmett. The No. 8 ranked 145’er is out of the bout due to a groin injury.

On Monday night, Chikadze posted a video on X of the moment he suffered a torn groin while preparing for the important fight. At the moment, it’s unclear if Emmett will remain on the fight card.
