Tony Ferguson has put Joe Rogan on blast for his recent UFC commentary.

“El Cucuy” is set to return to the octagon this Saturday when he faces off with Michael Chandler in what should be a thrilling contest.

Ferguson is currently on a three-fight skid after losing to current lightweight champ Charles Oliveira, Justin Gaethje och Beneil Dariush, and is now hoping that a win against Chandler can put him back on the path towards title contention.

Speaking at the UFC 274 Media Day, Ferguson aimed some harsh words towards UFC commentator Joe Rogan, whom he claimed made him “look like an idiot” in the fight against Oliveira.

“When Joe Rogan was talking, it looked like I didn’t know what the hell I was doing yet I was more active on the bottom than Dustin Poirier [against Charles Oliveira] and I didn’t hear one word talking about how bad his jiu jitsu was… The commentators are talking like they don’t know what the fuck they’re talking about and they’re making guys like me look like I’m an idiot for one and two that I’m out there [and] I don’t know what the fuck I’m doing,” Tony Ferguson said.

Should Ferguson defeat Michael Chandler on Saturday, a fight with Dustin Poirier could be on the table for the veteran. “The Diamond” recently hinted that he very well could fight the winner between Ferguson and Poirier next in a recent tweet – but according to Ferguson, Poirier is “full of shit”.

“He’s full of shit. I’m gonna be real, he said he wanted to fight me many times and I gave the opportunity to him and then we even get somebody [that] gave him more money to be able to fight. The kid’s full of shit, you know. Nothing against Poirier or any of the other fighters but I’m worried about Chandler,” says Ferguson.
