On Saturday June 18 UFC returns with another stacked card at Moody Center in Austin, Texas.
The main event features a clash between featherweights Calvin Kattar and Josh Emmett. No. 4 ranked Kattar demolished Giga Chikadze in the very first UFC event of 2022, and could be just one win from getting a title shot. His opponent, No. 7 ranked Emmet, has not lost since 2018 and rides a impressive four fight win streak.
In the co-main event we will see a lightweight fight between veteran Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone and Joe Lauzon. This could very well be 39-year-old Cerrone’s last fight in the UFC.
Guram Kutateladze’s long awaited UFC return
The card also features the return of lightweight Guram Kutateladze. The Swedish-Georgian defeated No. 12-ranked Mateusz Gamrot in his UFC debut back in October 2020, and now he’s set for another tough matchup. On Saturday he will face Russia’s Damir Ismagulov, who is on a impressive 15 fight win streak, and 4-0 in the UFC.
Kutateladze himself is looking to extend his own win streak to ten straight against Ismagulov.
