PFL Playoffs Wales: Swedish welterweight Sadibou Sy fights in the semifinal

The lineup is set for the PFL’s second set of playoff fights on August 13. The event will take place at the Motorpoint Arena in Cardiff, Wales.

The main event features a fight between No. 1 ranked welterweight Rory MacDonald and No. 4 Magomed Umalatov. The main card also features the other two top welterweights Sadibou Sy, who is ranked No. 2, and No. 3 Carlos Leal.

Sadibou Sy defeated Rory MacDonald at PFL 6

On July 1, Swedish fighter Sadibou Sy put on a performance when he defeated MacDonald by unanimous decision at PFL 6. The Swede has a professional record of 11-6-2, with one no-contest. His Brazilian opponent, Carlos Leal, has a record of 17-3. Both fighters is 2-0 in PFL this year.

The PFL Wales card also features two semifinal playoff fights at heavyweight, where No. 1 Denis Goltsov faces No. 4 Bruno Cappelozza, and No. 2 Ante Delija takes on No. 3 Renan Ferreira.
