Swedish heavyweight contender Otto Wallin and former two-time unified champion Anthony Joshua is being planned for December 23. That’s according to a report from American boxing journalist Dan Rafael.
Former champion Deontay Wilder also looks to take on former WBO champion Joseph Parker in the co-main event according to the journalist.
“Anthony Joshua would fight Otto Wallin in the main event of the pay-per-view, and former WBC titleholder Deontay Wilder would square off with former WBO titleholder Joseph Parker in the co-feature,” Rafael claimed.
The Swede comes from an important win against the dangerous Murat Gassiev a few weeks back. The win gave him the WBA Inter-Continental heavyweight title. He’s currently riding a six-fight winning streak that dates back to August 2020.
Former Olympic gold medalist Joshua has back-to-back wins against Jermaine Franklin and Robert Helenius after losing twice to Oleksandr Usyk.
