Undefeated Swedish boxer Costas Nanga (12-0, 8 KOs) has quickly become a rising star in the European boxing scene. And for good reason – he has secured 12 consecutive victories since making his professional debut in November 2021.
The future certainly looks bright for the 28-year-old Swede. With well-oiled team and the guidance of heavyweight legend Lennox Lewis, he could very well be the next big thing in boxing.
”He’s special. I’ve spent some time in the gym with him,” Lewis said at a recent press conference. ”He’s got a lot of heart, and you need the heart. He wants to be a champion; I’ve seen that in him as well and I’m going to help him do that, reach his success.”
The Swede is more than happy to have the legend by his side.
”He walked the path I want to walk. He’s seen what I’m expecting to see,” Nangas recently told Maximum Sports.
Costas Nanga has a huge fight coming up
Costas Nanga is currently getting ready for a pivotal showdown at one of the year’s most prestigious boxing events. On February 22, he will take on British contender Bradley Rea (20-1, 10 KOs) at a huge boxing card in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The fight marks a significant step-up in Nanga’s promising career
The boxing card is headlined by a blockbuster light heavyweight title clash between undefeated champion Artur Beterbiev and former champion Dmitrii Bivol.
