Former Swedish National Team member Sebastian Palacio Gomez will go to Denmark for his second professional MMA fight. On Saturday, the undefeated welterweight will compete at the first-ever Dominance FC card in Copenhagen.

“I’ve got a new opponent. Viljar André Tangstad pulled out last Sunday,” Palacio Gomez tells Frontkick. “I will face a Polish guy that I don’t know very much about. I will just go to Denmark and do my job and then get back to Sweden again.”

“It will be a great fight with a lot of violence, wherever it will take place.”

Sebastian Palacio Gomez: “That makes us unique”

The first Dominance FC card, that will go down at the classic K.B. Hallen in Copenhagen, is well on its way to selling out. That means a big platform to shine on for the dangerous Palacio Gomez.

“It seems to be a really professional event with big ambitions. I’m thankful to my coach that got me a fight in such a hyped event.”

The former National Team fighter made an impressive professional debut in April, with a first round TKO win at AFN 6. The daily grind at Örebro Fight Gym seems to really pay off for a lot of their fighters lately.

What makes Örebro Fight Gym stand out in your opinion?

“There’s no secret, we work and grind like animals, day in and day out. Some people seem to think it’s about certain techniques and how beautiful you fight, but the truth is that hard work and discipline beats talent. That’s what makes us unique.”

Dominance FC 1 will go down at K.B. Hallen in Copenhagen on Saturday September 21. The event will be be streamed on Pluto TV Sport, starting at 20.45 CET.
