Swedish combat sports phenomenon Josefine Modig just participated in the No-Gi Worlds 2023 in Las Vegas.

She started the tournament in dominant fashion with three straight wins, two via stoppage. In the finals she got caught in a triangle and eventually lost the fight. Modig was awarded with a silver medal to crown a very successful year as a martial artist.

“Well, well. I hate to end the year on a loss but I wanted a tougher bracket and I got it. Won my first match 23-0, second on armbar and third RNC. Felt good with no points against me. In the final I got caught in a triangle. I just got caught and shit happens,” Modig commented on Instagram.
