On Saturday December 23, Swedish heavyweight hope Otto Wallin will face two-time former unified world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua.

The Swede approches the massive fight with great confidence and self belief, which is just natural according to the boxing contender.

“Of course I’m confident, otherwise I wouldn’t have taken this fight,” Wallin told DAZN on the red carpet today in Riyadh.

“I feel like I’ve shown in the past that I’m a good fighter, I gave Fury a good fight and I take pride in my work. I worked very hard to come to this place where I’m at now.”

Otto Wallin: “I’ve got better!”

Otto Wallin claimed he’s not trash talking the former world champion, just speaking the truth when he gets questions about his opponent.

“I feel with Joshua that he hasn’t been the aggressive ‘seek-and-destroy’ kind of guy that he was known to be when he came up,” Wallin said. “He won the Olympic gold, he became pro and knocked everybody out, knocking out Klitschko. It’s been hard for him to realize that he’s vulnerable too, that he also can get beat.”

“He hasn’t really looked the same – and I’ve got better!”

There is a lot at stake on December 23, for both Wallin and Joshua. A win could put both fighters back in the title mix.

“I’ve got to do everything I can to win, but I feel like I have no pressure really,” Wallin said. “I worked so hard to be here so it’s time to enjoy.”
