Undefeated Muhammad Mokaev returns at UFC 294 in Abu Dhabi

Undefeated flyweight Muhammad Mokaev will take on former title challenger Tim Elliott at UFC 294.

The event will take place at the Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates on October 21. Eurosport NL first reported the news of the matchup.

Muhammad Mokaev is ranked No. 11

Mokaev is undefeated as a professional and amateur MMA fighter and is currently riding a four-fight winning streak in the UFC. He made his promotional debut in March 2022 with a first-round submission win against Cody Durden. Three of his four UFC wins have come via stoppage.

No. 10 ranked Elliott rides a two-fight winning streak against Tagir Ulanbekov and Victor Altamirano.

No other fights have been announced for the UFC 294 card at this time, however, it’s expected that lightweight champion Islam Makhachev will headline the event.
