Yesterday, striking league Karate Combat returned to Miami for KC 38.

In the highly anticipated main event, reigning middleweight champion Ross Levine defended his title in a rematch against Igor de Castaneda.

It was the champion’s fight from the start.

Dictating the fight for two rounds, Levine turned up the pace in the third, throwing a devastating left hook that landed clean on Castaneda, putting the challenger unconscious on the floor.

Health issues forced Jesus Lopez to withdraw from co-main event

Scheduled as the Karate Combat 38 co-main event was immediate rematch between the current bantamweight champion, Eoghan Chelmiah and challenger Jesus Lopez.

However, health issues forced Lopez to pull out of the fight before the weigh-ins.
