Swedish amateur MMA prospect Rafael Kveldstad is on fire right now.
At yesterday’s Cage Warriors Academy 32, the Allstars prospect defeated Mehdi Kora for the promotion’s vacant middleweight title. The Swede won the fight via a third-round TKO after pouring on heavy ground-and-pound.
Kveldstad is one of the hottest amateurs out of Scandinavia right now, with a bunch of solid performances at various promotions and in the Swedish National Team. Earlier this year he took a silver medal at the IMMAF World MMA Championship in Serbia.
Rising talent Ali ”The Alligator” Al-Jasim also participated in the Colchester event. The Redline Training Centers fighter defeated Harry Myers and stood as the winner via unanimous decision after three even rounds.
