Swedish pro boxer Linn Sandström will be back in the squared circle on January 25.
With the WBA Inter Continental, WBA Asia, WBC Australasia champion belts to her name, Sandström is one of the most accomplished Swedish pro boxers right now.
On Saturday she will take on Arisara Manopchai in a ten-round bout in Bangkok, Thailand.
“And just like that we are back! After a few months out of the ring I am now super excited to announce that I will be fighting 10 rounds again on the 25th Jan over here in Bangkok, Thailand,” Sandström wrote on Instagram.
“Huge thank you to everyone that has helped me to get to this point, pushed me in sparring and helped me with my recovery and to my Coach and all of my sponsors I couldn’t thank you enough! Let’s do this!”
On May 26, 2023, Swedish pro boxer Linn Sandström took on Venezuela’s Johana Zuniga at ABP Fight Night 9 in Malmö, Sweden, with the WBA super flyweight intercontinental title on the line.
In the second round of the fight, Sandström suffered a bad cut in the hairline as the two fighters clashed heads. The title bout was stopped by the referee and declared a technical draw. Sandström was still the WBA super flyweight intercontinental champion after the fight.
